ENGINE

The engine was the italian produced under license Alfa Romeo RA1000 RC44 Ia.

Alternatively the DB601Aa was used.

Performance between the two engines was theoretically the same.

The engine was a 12 cylinders gasoline direct injection unit with compressor.

It was water cooled.

Also the engine Alfa Romeo RA1000 RC41 Ia was the same as Alfa Romeo RC41 Ia. The different naming was due to the points meant in the performance chart, continuative power or max power.
