WING
The planform of the wing of RE 2005 is the
same as the other Reggiane fighters but actually uses different airfoils
and it's basically made by one single piece.
Radiators and landing gear also changed.
The wing is still a metallic and cantilever one.
It's composed by 2 parts:
- central part
- 2 wing tips

Wing of RE 2005
Aerodynamics:
The wing planform is elliptical (actually almost-elliptical) and:
- airfoil thickness is decreasing from root to tip
- biconvex airfoils
- twisted wing
Structures:

It's composed by:
- 3 wing spars (see below in red)
- metal sheet wing ribs sections with holes for weight reduction
- wing top surface stiffened by corrugated metal sheet (see below in blue) and stringers (see below in yellow)
- wing bottom surface stiffened by curled-stringers (overlapped with the blue part)
